Implantes com instalação imediata à enxertia em região do seio maxilar e sua contribuição à implantodontia clínica: uma revisão

This work, through a literature review, has the information necessary for the immediate installation of dental implants at the same time of the procedure of grafting in the maxillary sinus, trying to verify which choice of grafting material can effectively be considered the best option, and also to assess the success between the mediate and immediate way. The information is grouped in the following topics: quality and conditions of the maxillary alveolar process after the loss of teeth, the maxillary sinus grafting; properties and longevity of the implants in regions of the maxillary sinus: with and without the use of grafts / immediate and mediate the graft. The use of autogenous bone grafting material can occur higher morbidity, but the quality of bone generated, creating excellent conditions for the osseointegration are unquestionable. The simultaneous or delayed installation of the implants do not show significant differences, but the quality and quantity of the residual alveolar bone are crucial to the success of implants.

O presente trabalho, através de uma revisão de literatura, reúne informações necessárias em relação ao procedimento cirúrgico de instalação imediata de implantes ao procedimento de enxertia no seio maxilar, buscando-se verificar qual escolha de material de enxertia pode ser considerada efetivamente a melhor opção, além de avaliar o sucesso entre a realização de forma mediata e imediata. As informações estão agrupadas nos seguintes tópicos: qualidade e condições do processo alveolar da maxila após a perda dos dentes; enxertia no seio maxilar; propriedades dos enxertos e longevidade de implantes em regiões do seio maxilar: com e sem o uso de enxertos / imediatos e mediates à enxertia. O uso do osso autógeno como material de enxertia parece óbvio que sua aplicação representa maiores morbidades, porém a qualidade do sítio ósseo gerado, criando excelentes condições para a osseointegração são inquestionáveis. As instalações simultâneas ou tardias dos implantes não apresentam diferenças significativas, sendo a qualidade e quantidade do rebordo alveolar residual determinante para o sucesso dos implantes.
