Objective. Report case report with direct bonding of self-ligating brackets for alignment, leveling and uncrossing the upper left bite (lateral incisor, maxillary canine and first premolar) for a Class I molar and canine. Methods. For orthodontic treatment with self-ligating braces, Aditek EasyClip brackets, 0.014'' x 0.025'' C Damom Universal Nitinol format brackets, glass ionomer stops in the lower first molars to lift the bite, mid-chain elastics were used. first molar to lower first molar, 3/16 medium triangle-shaped elastics with 130 g force, short chain elastics, 1/8 medium elastics with 130 g force and upper and lower retention. Results. With the treatment introduced it was possible to deconstruct the patient's bite, leaving the patient in Class I molar and canine, without crowding, demonstrating the efficiency of the device and the patient's satisfaction with the treatment time, which was reduced with the device self-ligated. Conclusion. The patient's crossbite was successfully corrected only with the use of wires and without the need for intermaxillary elastics, demonstrating the efficiency of the self-ligating device and the patient's satisfaction with the treatment time.

Objetivo. Relatar caso clínico com colagem direta de bráquetes autoligados para alinhamento, nivelamento e descruzar a mordida superior esquerda (incisivo lateral, canino superior e primeiro pré-molar) visando uma Classe I de molar e canino. Métodos. Para o tratamento ortodôntico com aparelho autoligado sistema utilizou-se bráquetes da EasyClip da Aditek, fio 0.014’’ x 0.025’’ C Nitinol formato Damom Universal, batente de ionômero de vidro nos primeiros molares inferiores para levantar a mordida, elásticos de corrente médio de primeiro molar a primeiro molar inferior, elásticos 3/16 médio em formato de triângulo com 130 g força, elásticos de corrente curto, elásticos 1/8 médio com 130 g de força e contenção superior e inferior. Resultados. Com o tratamento introduzido foi possível descruzar a mordida da paciente, deixando a paciente em Classe I de molar e de canino, sem apinhamentos, demonstrando a eficiência do aparelho e a satisfação da paciente em relação ao tempo de tratamento, que foi reduzido com o aparelho autoligado. Conclusão. A mordida cruzada da paciente foi corrigida com sucesso apenas com o uso de fios e sem a necessidade de elásticos intermaxilares, demonstrando a eficiência do aparelho autoligado e a satisfação da paciente em relação ao tempo de tratamento.
