Cirurgia cardíaca: assistência de enfermagem e o tempo de permanência hospitalar: uma revisão sistemática

Introduction: the cardiac surgery is considered to have a great complexity, with an enormous hemodynamic impact. Aim: identify the nursing diagnostics and interventions on the postoperative cardiac surgery patients. Method: It´s a literature systematic review made on the database PubMed and LILACS. The anagram PICO was used to formulate the following question: “What are the nursing diagnostics and interventions in the post-operative cardiac surgery and their impacts on the length of stay in the intensive care unit. It was selected the most relevant studies in the last ten years about adult cardiac surgery and that included the nursing diagnostic and interventions. Result: It was found eight studies related with the guiding question, on which most of them was trying to identify the nursing diagnostics and only one aimed also to find the nursing interventions. Conclusion: The nursing diagnostics and interventions have weighed in for tumbling the length of stay of these patients in the ICU and have facilitated the prevention and early identification of possible complications. The diagnostics of “Acute confusion” and “Risk of Acute Confusion” were not found in any of the studies.

Introdução: A cirurgia cardíaca é considerada de alta complexidade, com uma enorme repercussão hemodinâmica. Objetivo: identificar os diagnósticos e intervenções de enfermagem ao paciente em pós-operatório de cirurgia. Método: trata-se de uma revisão sistemática de literatura realizada nas bases de dados PubMed e LILACS. Utilizou-se o anagrama PICO para formular a questão norteadora: “Quais são os diagnósticos e intervenções de enfermagem ao paciente em pós-operatório de cirurgia cardíaca e seus impactos no tempo de permanência na unidade de terapia intensiva”. Foram selecionados os mais relevantes artigos dos últimos dez anos sobre cirurgia cardíaca em adultos e que abordavam os diagnósticos e/ou intervenções de enfermagem. Resultado: encontraram-se oito artigos em concordância com a questão norteadora, sendo sua maioria de estudos nacionais. Conclusão: Os diagnósticos e intervenções de enfermagem contribuem para diminuição do tempo de permanência destes indivíduos na UTI, além de auxiliarem na prevenção e identificação precoce de possíveis complicações. Os diagnósticos de “Confusão aguda” ou “Risco de Confusão Aguda” não foram identificados em nenhum dos estudos.
